Summary:
The Garmin GPSMAP is a portable GPS that can track your position in even the most challenging of places, such as deep canyons or lush wood. It can also track ocean charts and shorelines, so it’s perfect for the mariner or hiker in you.
Pros:
Excellent GPS mapping, easy use, floats when dropped in water, automatic track log.
Cons:
It’s a bit pricey, and somewhat of a poor rival to the Garmin Colorado GPS.
Rating:
4/5 – Still a great portable GPS system, but the Garmin Colorado does it better.
