Not just another stapler
By P Garrett
By far the neatest thing in the cubical environment is the PaperPro desktop stapler. The first time you use it you learn why. It just isn't like other staplers, its springy, it never jams, just click and you're done. It will even staple through a stack of 25 pages--no problem. Why would anybody spend lots of money for an electric stapler? There's never enough outlets. Don't get stuck with the old manual stapler that everyone else cast off either, pass it on--you know its jammed, or out of staples and if you can find more staples, it still won't quite penetrate the two pages you are trying to attach.
You gotta get one of these PaperPro desktop staplers, pick your favorite color of translucent plastic so you can identify what is inside. It is good to know everything is still in there. The one drawback, you might find it a little baffling when you first need to refill the thing, but staples only work with the points down, so if they aren't in there right, it doesn't close. There is a slightly different model of Paperpro stapler that even comes in pink. I don't know how many self-respecting nerds would touch a pink stapler, but there you go if you were looking for one.
If you get one for work you'll want one at home. Better yet, you might want to buy two. One to hide, one to use. The kids find it and there will be staples in everything, your socks, the lampshade, the cat's fur etc., and it will probably disappear into a backpack. If your spouse finds it, you'll never see it again. I didn't know the Paperpro was the ideal Easter gift, but if you get just one, you will be starting hunt a little early.
