Strengths: Great surface print Quality, Vivid colors. No compatibility issues. Never a coaster.
Summary: I use with Pioneer 107D burner and Epson R200 Printer. Printed surface looks GREAT, sharp and vivid. I've never had a coaster. Never had someone complain about compatibility. I bounced from brand to brand but found these to be best looking, most reliable. Can't be beat.

Strengths: good quality, name brand, printable surface including the HUB for FULL FACE dvd printing, nice output from inkjet printer
Summary: There are many other \"generic\" printable dvd-r brands that cost less. But I wanted brand name printable dvds to ensure I get long lasting dvds. Verbatim is known for their quality cd and dvd media. I'd rather pay a few cents more per dvd for quality and peace of mind.
What I liked especially about these dvds are the printable hub (center of the dvd). This gives a larger printable area. So you get printable full face surface and it looks great! Just compare to a \"regular\" printed cd or dvd and you'll know what I mean. I use the Epson R200 to print and the output is awesome.
I used to use cd/dvd adhesive labels and these direct printable media looks MUCH better quality. Also adhesive labels can peel off the dvd over time and possibly affect the underlying dye where the data is written.
NOTE: There is a disclaimer on the label that says these dvds may not work with 1x and 2x dvd burners. Check the verbatim website for more info.
