Strengths: dependable... no branding... blank, white surface.
Summary: These discs are a rare breed and kinda hard to come by. What makes them so great (for my purposes, at least) is the fact that the white glossy surface allows you to write or draw on them permanently with Sharpie pens and markers. There are a lot of CD-Rs on the market that will say \"Inkjet-printable\" — but they have a specially designed white matte-finished surface that ruins any marker that touches it. I say that these are a rare breed because I have not yet found another brand/product with this white glossy finish. (NOTE: If you know of others, please tell me by posting a comment to this review. What are they, and who makes them... seriously! I would love to have other options available to me in case Verbatim ever stops making these!!)

Strengths: Because there is a manufactures name which is well known the cd's are excellent and reliable.
Summary: Using VERBATIM products is the choice of our IT Department at work and I have chosen to make it my choice at home as well. I have passed many verbatim products to other persons requiring the use of these type of products be they tape, disk, cassette tape or CD and now DVD with many thanks for introducing the people I gave the product to.
