Summary: This is replacing my Sony, Onkyo & DirecTV remotes. Once I got everything programmed it was a breeze to use. You really do have to read the manual carefully so as not to get frustrated along the way. The backlight provides enough illumination so that it's easy to operate in a low light situation. After you get this set up, you never have to worry about pointing the remote again. You basically end up with a turbo-charged remote that gets your commands where you want them. I got mine from Buy.com for 80 dollars and that included free shipping! I would highly recommend this remote. You can keep your other remotes in a safe place until you update your components and resell them.
