Strengths: lots of extra space other than for the laptop, still very light (2.2 lbs). Padding is OK.
Summary: I tried several (more expensive) leather bags from Targus and other manufacturers. This bag was the same size as others (rather little small in height) yet it had the maximum space for items other than a laptop. The laptop compartment is standard, but it is the other extra space that is really larger (than others) here.

Note: The manufacturer description says bag fits laptops upto 15\", but i have my doubts. The laptop compartment of this bag is 13.19\"X11.81\"X1.69\". I have a 14\" laptop that is 13.25\" wide and it just fits snugly into the laptop compartment. A 15\" laptop might be 14\" wide and may not fit (i haven't tested it) so be careful with a 15\" notebook.

suggestion to manufacturer: convert it into leather, but don't change the interior space design and you got a killer bag.
