Strengths: Long life of battery
Summary: I bought this as the recommended kit for my new sony sr42 camcorder . It was way oversized i wanted something to secure my camera in but this was like carrying luggage around i ended up buying a much smaller case . the battery adds a lot of record time but is also to big to use cofortably. I would not buy this again .

Strengths: Great Value..nice looking bag
Summary: All in all, a very good value. The battery alone costs $100 but I got the kit for $80. I would highly recommend purchasing this kit. The kit is big enough for all the included accessories.

Strengths: Good size bag to keep accessories for our camcorder and still protects the camera. Battery has long life and recharges fairly quickly.
Summary: This was a very good investment for our Sony DCR SR-82 handycam camcorder. The bag is a nice size so we can keep other accessories in it and it is still able to protect the camera well. The extra battery is nice to have because it has a longer life than the battery the camera came with.
