Summary: My T-Fal started leaking water after 1-2 years of moderate use and I was looking for an iron that wasn't going to set me back more than $50.
Naturally some of the Rowenta models have great reviews but I just couldn't see spending $100+ on an iron.
After reading a decent amount of reviews I found this one for under $40 with digital controls, much heavier than my T-Fal that died which is great for pressing clothing and an autoshut-off.
Whle some people have noted spotty reliability the overwhelming reviews indicated this was a winner. Sunbeam has been making irons for a long time and this certainly is not their entry level model.
After using this iron for almost a week and being one that needs to iron all of my work clothing every week I would say this is the best bang for one's buck for someone looking to spend under $50 that needs to iron on a regular basis.
This truly is a professional quality iron for someone on a budget.
