Strengths: Plug and Play on Windows XP with basic functionality before installing any software which allows custom button functions. Basic functions only on OS X with Keynote. Range is much better than others.
Summary: The feel of this remote is much better than others. While not the smallest of its kind, it allows control without buttons being crowded together which can result in pressing more than one button at a time. The laser pointer is activated by one button below the pointer control which is convenient over others that require two buttons to be pressed simultaneously. Visit the company website to download the current Windows driver. While no drivers were available for OS X, I was still able to control my Keynote presentation just by plugging in the remote receiving unit.
