The TigerSwitch 8124PL2 is a scalable 10/100/1000BASE-T standalone managed edge switch designed to provide cost effective, Gigabit Ethernet switching for bandwidth intensive applications. Up to 32 of the 8100 or 6100 switches can be clustered together with the same IP address so that they can be managed as a single entity rather than as separate boxes. Support for Power over Ethernet (IEEE802.3af PoE) is ideal for providing power to downstream devices in difficult to reach situations where power access may be a problem such as in ceiling voids or on walls.
