Strengths: Cheap(~$200), HDMI, 7.1 audio, component video, pretty much amost of the audio/video connectivity options are available.
Summary: This is a budget receiver with good sound, features and definitely great price/value ratio. I paired it up with Polk 6750 7.1 speakers as my a basic home theater system, it blows away any Japanese boxed home theater systems (tried a Sony HT-DDW790 system and returned it as soon as I heard the subwoofer output).

Be aware that HDMI is pass-through only, no up-conversion. I guess I will upgrade to a better receiver sometime down the road. But for now, I'm happy :)
