Strengths: Great sound quality for a good price!!
Summary: I bought an iPod about a couple months ago and was very unhappy with the eaabuds that came with it. I read awesome reviews about these Sennheiser earbuds and the reviews were true. Great sound quality for a good price. A bit more than I wanted to spend on earbuds, but other top brand earbuds are considerably more expensive. I highly recommend these.

Strengths: Sound quality and comfort of fit.
Summary: These are really nice ear inserts. Thanks to the extra sets of ear cushions I was able to achieve a perfect fit for my undersized ears. The sound quality is outstanding; I'm catching musical details in albums I've owned for years that I never heard on my stereo's full-sized tower speakers.
I am a bit bewildered by the asymmetrical design of the earpiece wires -- from the branch of the main lead, the wire for the right ear is twice as long as the lead to the left ear. I assume this is to facilitate behind-the-head use, which is how I wear them; however the leads don't lie well and when I try to adjust them so that both are comfortably behind my head, I generally wind up pulling one or both of the earpieces out on the first couple of attempts.
All in all, though, these are truly superior sound reproducing earphones. I can understand why Consumers Report rated them tops in class.
