Strengths: Quality product with multiple features. Audio and video (in daylight) is very good. Compact size with wide pan/tilt. Remote access works well on broadband. Good technical support (800-272-7033).
Summary: I have more X10 products than I care to admit, and although more compact the video quality is poor and features limited. The ability to monitor my home remotely (inside and out) is a huge step forward in security. No monthly service fees is a plus and it works well with my D-Link wireless router. Panasonic has limited product line with no miniature ones. If you can afford it, the BB-HCM371A at over $600 is a powerful product. Got to start saving my pennies, but maybe it will come down over the next few months.

Summary: My brother is in the hospital and I thought this would be a great product for him to see his dog.

I bought it after researching and love the fact that he can control the lense from anywhere.
