Summary: I\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'m a speech-language pathologist, so to me, a good recorder is a necessity for my evaluation of patients\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\' speech. This recorder is great because it\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'s very portable and the sound quality is excellent. Unlike traditional recorders, this one allows to transfer the sound files onto your computer, so you can burn those sound files onto a CD or email them.

Summary: Great product, lightweight alloy case, convenient controls. It has 3 mic sensitivity settings for optimum performance and mic is removable, so you can attach external one if you need to. Comes with mini-headset and USB cable. Voice help feature is nice and it's easy to switch it off later, when you become familiar with recorder. Highly recommend this product.

Summary: The DS-30 is very compact and light. It really easy to use and has multiple quality levels to suit what you want it for. Works well in the lecture hall on standard quality. Pretty good for recording a music audition on the high quality setting too. Plenty of recording time for the lectures and easy to download for archival. The wma format is easy to convert by lots of programs if you don't want to use media player. Lots of other features to explore yet; but it already does what I need it for.
