Strengths: Compact size, good sound pickup, 360* rotation on tie-clip.
Summary: I am quite satisfied with my Olympus ME-15. It has good sound pickup, discrete size, no unnecessary on-off switch, and a very convenient 90-degree mini-plug. Only two minor shortcomings. One is the 3.3 foot cord length, a full 4 foot might be better, second, the tie-clip could be a mini-tie clip instead of the large one provided.

Strengths: small mic, short cord, angled plug
Summary: I use this mic clip with my WS300M, which I put in my pocket to record seminars. The ME-15 I clip to my tie or my lapel. I need a small unobtrusive mic with a short cord that works well with my DVR. This is just the ticket as there is no switch to turn on or off and no battery to replace when you most need it. The cord is angled so the DVR fits better in my pocket. The sound quality if much better than the EC mic I was using before. Clear and good reproduction. The only weakness is the tie clip portion is chromed with lends attention to the placement of the mic. If you are looking for a discreet lapel mic which works with your digital voice recorder, this is the ticket. Great price and small size for that price.
