Reviewed by: bbsbb on 27-Apr-06 Rating: 2 Star Review
Strengths: Easy to use and it works
Summary: I bought the unit to record my saved DVR programs, it worked as expected, but one day, I found out the CF card is longer recognized by any of my card readers, and there is no way to reformat it, the card is a total loss.
I sent the unit to their support, and they just stated there is no way it can demage the card, but it happened to me, I beleive the cause is the unit tried to record without any room left in the card.
Reviewed by: on 07-Jun-07 Rating: 5 Star Review
Strengths: Inexpensive, compact, good DVD recording quality, easy to use
Summary: I have never had a CF card fail. I have bought and integrated 18 of these R2's for wildlife monitoring, traffic recording and in car \"racecar\" video systems. Not one failure.
Reviewed by: websterphreaky on 05-Feb-07 Rating: 1 Star Review
Strengths: None
Summary: I totally agree with the other poster, it damaged two of my 1GB CF cards (both SanDisk) and the company will NOT accept responcibilty for the flaws in the unit!

STAY AWAY from this unit, it is junk!
