Summary: I bought the unit to record my saved DVR programs, it worked as expected, but one day, I found out the CF card is longer recognized by any of my card readers, and there is no way to reformat it, the card is a total loss. I sent the unit to their support, and they just stated there is no way it can demage the card, but it happened to me, I beleive the cause is the unit tried to record without any room left in the card.

Summary: I totally agree with the other poster, it damaged two of my 1GB CF cards (both SanDisk) and the company will NOT accept responcibilty for the flaws in the unit!
