Strengths: Sound quality, range, balance of sound at all levels
Summary: These speakers are amazing. I found them through extensive search of top quality studio equipment. At the time they were not listed on price grabber as computer speakers. Despite their small size (still bigger than most desktop speakers), their quality and power seems to rival the bigger M-Audio monitors which are used by professionals. Even when a lot of voices are playing at once, every voice can be made out clearly. Being a musician, my ear is pretty well trained, and these are by far the best speakers I have ever owned. Although they are very loud, they never seem to hurt my ears or senses. Where as cheap or mid quality speakers do. The speakers include a switch to bring the sound forward, which seems to work really well when sitting at my desk. I use my computer to watch DVDs, and these speakers combined with cheaper computer speakers create an amazing 5.1 system.

Strengths: Excellent sound, zero configuration.
Summary: These are the best sounding speakers I could find for a computer setup, that didn’t require a sub-woofer. I'm using them as part of a KVM setup, which allows me to share the speakers among several computers. Was able to say “goodbye” to all the cheapo speakers that shipped with my different computers and “hello” to sweet clean sound. They’re great for listening to music and gaming. Have also done some video editing work and they’re fine studio monitors; definitely worth the price. Only hassle-factor was the fact they don’t come ready to be wall-mounted; I had to purchase the B-TECH BT77 side clamping speaker bracket mounts. [If you’re planning to wall mount, you’ll also have to purchase longer cabling …unit ships with standard 3’ cables.]
