Summary: Got this to use with the HT820 headset and MPX220 phone. Got it to pair successfully to both devices but is VERY tempermental. I get into the office in the morning and some days it takes 20 minutes to get audio thru my headset. When it does work, it works great. I can listen to my music without worrying about tangled wires and if my phone rings, I can answer it with the headset. I found out the other day that I can't seem to get any audio when playing Quicktime files. For a short time I had to go into my audio properties and switch it from the Bluetooth High Quality Audio back to the MB's default audio output. It's been a real pain. Seems there are NO NEW drives out and the one it comes with is circa 2004? It's like Moto quit with the adapter. But I did call their tech support and a nice gentleman listened to my ills but was unable to answer any of my questions. Don't pay a lot for this adapter and it is what it is. I had the DC800 before the PC850 and it was much simpiler to set up and use. Only you can't use it to sync your phone with your computer like the adapter. If it's just music you want to listen to, the DC800 is way better.

Summary: I ordered a Motorola BLUETOOTH PC850 for my Dell XPS laptop. Setup was as easy as Bluetooth can be and my Motorola wireless earpiece and Motorola phone connected. Motorola does guarrente all their equippment is compatible. That is the main reason for getting Motorola PC adapter and not a cheaper off brand.

Strengths: High quality, high compatability, great software, stirdy, dust cap, A2DP, and thourough manual.
Summary: The Motorola PC850 USB Bluetooth adapter is the best bluetooth adapter that I used to this date. Between it's ease of installation to the sturdiness of the unit itself. The manual is well written and thourough so I had no problems following all of it. Being A2DP compliant makes this item great for listening to music wirelessly. Overall it's another great specimen created by the minds at Motorola.
