Strengths: Slim and sleek looking satellites, quality finish, convenient wired remote with headphone jack and mp3 input jack, good frequency response range
Summary: These speakers are easy to install and they look and sound great. Although the subwoofer and satellites seem a bit underpowered, they were louder and clearer than I expected (my other computer speakers are Klipsch THX Certified). I find it very convenient to have the volume control, bass control, power button, head phone and mp3 jacks on the wired remote which I can place right within reach on my desk. Although the mp3 input doesn't work for all players, especially if it's a Sony. You won't find a better pair of 2.1 speakers at this price. Highly Recommended.

Strengths: Attractive styling, wired remote with headphone and mic jacks, decent bass and clean sound, solid construction
Summary: This set of speakers allowed me to banish the last bit of beige from my computer desk. The black and silver finish matches well with my Dell monitor and Logitech G15 keyboard. The wired remote is a great feature which allows you to put the volume/bass/mute controls in a convenient location and includes the aforementioned phone and mic jacks. All connections are made with standard type, well-fitting connectors which I have read has been a weakness in other more expensive brands. I'm currently just using these with the built in ALC850 audio chip with games so that isn't much of a sonic test. However, they sound better than my previous 2.1 beige beauties. I'll be getting an X-Fi soundcard shortly so I'll be sure to update on whether these speakers properly show off the capability of the card.
Update: Did a test playing War of the Worlds DTS with the X-Fi card and the speakers did a terrific job (considering the size and price of the speakers, of course). Plenty loud, for me, without distortion. WoW has some nice LFE and the little subwoofer did a respectable job with them.

Strengths: style, sound quality, power saving(40w)
Summary: I bought this to replace my logitech z640. My room is too small to place z640 5.1 speakers. The new stylish z4 speakers fit my PC desk better. The remote control allows me to control the bass volume, which is an improvement from the previous models. And it is easy to play from an mp3 player with the z4 speakers. The sound quality is fine and crispy. It also saves power than 5.1 speakers. One thing bad about the z4 speakers is about the misleading sample pictures. The z4 pictures from logitech seem to be cordless. Actually all four pieces come with wires. And that degrades it from four stars to three stars.
