Strengths: Adjustable weight. Precise.
Summary: Oh. I wait for this product for a long time. I owned a g5 before i got this mouse. loved it and i didn't think that logitech could top that g5 but they did, Mouse slides smoother than the g5 across the mouse pad and just fits more comfortably. I recommend this mouse to any gamer or anyone just looking for a great mouse.

Strengths: Accuracy and precision. Grip of the mouse is adjustable. Awesome responsiveness.
Summary: Been looking for a gaming mouse for some time now. I game pretty heavily--mostly FPS games like Team Fortress 2. I need a mouse with extra precision because I use the sniper rifles often. As you can imagine, responsiveness is also important. This mouse is far superior than my previous mouse--primarily because it is a gaming mouse and my old one was not. My favorite feature of it would be the grip of the mouse--which can be suited to large or small hands, or to your liking.

Summary: I have had a few non-gaming wireless mice and they have all been of rather poor quality. For a few years I used the Logitech mx1000 for work and gaming. I loved the 10 programmable buttons and all was good. After 3 years the laser didn’t tack so well anymore and I had problems with getting the mouse to sit perfectly on the charging base. Since I had such a great experience with a Logitech non-gaming mouse I thought I would try their latest gaming mouse offering. I love this mouse. It takes a little while to get used to, and doesn’t have as many buttons as my last mouse, but this mouse has everything else going for it.

You can read all the features on the side of the box so I will only speak of real world experience.

I am a BF2 fanatic. The ability to shift between 5 different sensitivities on the fly, and set them from 200-3200 in increments of 200 DPI is huge. My accuracy with sniping improved greatly and it makes it easier to go from ground combat to air combat than ever before. The bottom of the mouse uses 3 very large skids to glide gently. On the mx1000 it had 4 small pads. These large pads should last a very long time, especially if you use a cloth mouse pad like I do. The mx1000 is a really large mouse and after a few hours my mouse would cramp. By comparison the G9 is smaller but not diminutive by any means.

The only negative comment I have is that on occasion, about once every other day, the laser will not track correctly (could be a software issue). I just pick the mouse up and shake it. Within a few seconds it corrects itself. If it gets worse I will let Logitech know. I had a problem with the mx1000 once and they replaced it no trouble. Logitech rocks.

Frankly I could go on forever about the quality of this mouse but your time would be better spent buying it for yourself and using it.
