Get ready to experience the most realistic steering wheel ever made. With 900 degrees of wheel rotation, the Logitech Driving Force Pro duplicates the true to life steering dynamics of cars like never before on your PlayStation2 computer entertainment system. And for games that don't support 900 degree steering, the wheel automatically switches to standard 200-degree mode. The advanced rack and pinion steering system lets you turn through 2-1/2 steering wheel rotations. Get behind the Driving Force Pro and get as close to reality as possible, no seatbelts required.

Strengths: This driving wheel ROCKS!!!!! It really makes your games come alive. When you're driving you can feel the resistance of the wheel when you \"turn from center\". If there was a better, more realistic dri
Summary: I love driving games, and the Logitech Driving Force PRO is the third driving wheel that I've owned. The first one was a Pelican from Gamestop for $60.00. The second was a Intec purchased from toysrus for $80.00. Both of the mentioned wheels were junk. Neither gave a good feel for the \"road\". In fact the Pelican wheel gave no feedback at all.

The Driving force PRO (I highlight \"PRO\" because there is a Driving Force wheel that is much cheaper and not quite as good) is exactly what I wanted in a PS2 wheel. You really do get sucked into the game much more than with the controller.

The gear shifter is fair but shifting with the wheel mounted paddles is really much easier.

The wheel feedback really is impressive. BUT.... I'm not sure if I find the 2-1/2 turns in each direction needed. Yes it really does mimic a real car but how often do you turn your car's wheel that much (parking maybe).

Buy this wheel, if you like driving games you'll love this driving wheel. I can't wait for Gran Torismo 4 to come out.

P.S. I bought mine at www.ICTcompany.com for $55.00 + $10.65 s/h. Refurbished, but what a super deal. Sugg retail is $149.00

note: after you drive with the Driving Force Pro wheel, and the game \"BURNOUT 3\" don't be supprised if you get thoughts of smashing into other peoples \"real\" cars on the road. The line between real and play starts to get a bit fuzzy........ I Love IT.

CuT from above.... (weakness) games that are not listed on the Logitech site actually DO work with the wheel ex. \"Ford Racing 2\", \"Super trucks racing\". It's kind of a gamble as logitech support is not there on the game box. Expect that any game that lists [pressure sensative] will most likely work with the wheel. ATV off road fury 2 DOES NOT work, already tried it (bummer).

Have not tried it but apparently you can plug the Driving force Pro wheel into your computer running winxp (via the USB connection for both PS2 & PC) and play computer based driving games (bonus)

Hope this helps.

Strengths: Compared to it's cheaper model this one is much better becuase it has more resistance when you turn. It also have a spike stripe on that bottom so that it stays on the carpet and never move.
Summary: I have tried the other force feedback from logitech and this one is much better because it has a seperate manuel shift knob. The cheaper version just has the auto shift on the back of the steering wheel. There is more resistance on this wheel and it is definitly worth the extra money.

Strengths: Nice Feedback, quite enough sensitivity. Stick shifting available. Everything except its weakness
Summary: I have GT3 and GT4 prologue, and I am enjoying 240 degree with GT3 and 900 degree with GT4 prologue. This steering wheel is not too sensitive so I can enjoy driving.
However, when I need to turn hard and shift down, I have to control the steering only with my left hand and shift down with my right hand. I know there are R1 and L1 buttons on the back of steering, but since stick shift is set as R3 and L3, I can use both at the same time.
So, I can enjoy shifting either just like the way of Driving Force or using stick shift.

This expensive steering wheel does NOT come with a lap attachment, and I check its website and it says \"Lap attachment will be sold separately.\"

USB cable is kind of short so I need additional USB extention cable. Its length is about 4/5 or 3/4 of PS2 dual shock controller.

Even though it has some weaknesses I put 5-star on it.
