Strengths: Wireless, Setup was not difficult, The phone works well in my house. Summary: It works very well with Skype, and not more wire needed on the desk. easy to setup, easy to use. There are two issues this phone can be improved, 1. the batttery does not last very long, if I do not use it, I have to put it back to the dock, if I forget it, the battery will run out. 2. It seems the reaction time is a little long, maybe it is because it need to download the contact information from the computer. All in all, it is a great product for Skype Strengths: Dual mode phone. Can be used as skype and landline phone Summary: Compared to the new wi-fi phone, this CIT300 dual-mode phone is more reasonable priced. I like the dual mode system. I can use the landline when I call local phone. Then, I can switch to Skype if I wanna call long-distance or international. I can't tell about the battery life because I always leave the phone on the charger all the time. But the longest time I used to talk with Skype is 2 hrs. The battery inside this phone is just 2 of normal NiMH AAA batteries. (I like that.)
The installation is very easy, just follow the instruction on CD and you're done. Also, you can continue listening the music with the original speaker without any problem.
One thing that I don't like is that the computer must be on all the time in order to use skype. (This problem will be gone if I use wi-fi phone. But It's too expensive for me.) Strengths: Easy to call with the handset as if using a real cordless phone Summary: Initial setup is easy.
After using for some time, the voice control becomes odd - have to readjust in the Skype to choose CIT300 as the voice and sound device again and again after reboot.
Dialing is ok, however, a little bit slower response than a usual phone.
