Strengths: Easy Setup, Great Looks, Amazing Performance
Summary: Just as UPS dropped my WAP54G at my door, I picked it up, opened the box and literally plugged it into my hub. From that point on, fired up the laptop and I was on the internet. Very very easy to setup. Ready to go right out of the box. Setting up the WAP itself isn't a tedious task, nothing to hard. Also since 802.11g is still draft, you might have some conflicts with the WEP encryption with non Broadcom products. Other than that, this is the best WAP I've ever used.

Strengths: Communication with a non-wired building. Used in conjunction with the WUS54G, allows for connection to non-wired machines.
Summary: I'm using a cable modem, LinkSys router, WAP54G, and WUSB54G setup. On a laptop with no ethernet card the installation was fairly easy. On a desktop with an existing ethernet card, the installation has been frustrating at best - still trying to get the Internet connection to work after many hours of tweaking settings and searching for tech support.

Strengths: Flexibilty bridge mode or access point
Summary: i have a wireless router 2 access points and 3 pcs cooneected throughout my house. When I first purchased my equipment I was quite frustrated as the network dropped constantly. I can say it seems to have been software related. I recently updated all devidces firmware (WRT54G, WAP54G, WMP54G) When all were upgraded the reliability has improved tremendously.
P.S. I have version 1.08.04 for firmware on the WAP54G
