Summary: This is the 2nd battery for me. The first one is dying, although only 60 circles, but I can only charge it to half what original capacity is, even now system giving me red status on that old battery. I am thinking maybe I should not connect to the AC adapter all the time while I am working at home. But anyway, it has been running for 2-3 years, it’s about time anyway. This new battery I bought from the vendor listed in pricegrabber.com, the battery is excellent, and even has a little more total capacity than the 1st one. Maybe IBM has better technology now. In my opinion, the battery of laptop is very important, laptop is all about mobility, and only a good battery life can support that. I am happy with this new battery.

Summary: Excellent replacement specially for travel in planes. It is better to combine with another battery (instead of CD-ROM). It gave me 5 hours of non stop work (movies, music, writing)

Summary: Rather than spending over $200 for an original IBM replacement, I spent less than $100 and got a very good quality product. Very high capacity and battery power stays on for over 5 hrs.
