Strengths: Great Features--one touch dubbing, relatively quite operation
Summary: I had an older used JVC unit that was similar in features. This newer unit seems to have made a few improvements. I tried a Sony to replace the older JVC but returned it because it was SO noisy. I am pleased with the functionality and relative quite operation of the JVC

Strengths: Fine job on dubbing tapes and recording tapes! The ability to create a calibration profile of the tapes that I use is a real plus.
Summary: The dual dubbing cassette deck from JVC provides an excellent vehicle for recording and dubbing tapes. I especially liked the ability to play back two tapes back to back. The tape calibration feature provides a higher quality tape recording. Having three motors for each of the two decks will give the deck a longer life.
