GUF202 is a combination PCI CardBus adapter that features both USB 2.0 and IEEE 1394 (FireWire) connections on the same card. It includes two USB 2.0 Type A receptacles and two IEEE 1394 Type A receptacles. All USB ports support both USB version 2.0 and 1.1 devices. The two external USB 2.0 Type A ports can be used for external USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices such as scanners, portable CD-ROMs, portable drives, etc. The two external IEEE 1394 receptacles can be used for IEEE 1394 devices such as digital camcorders, digital cameras, etc. USB 2.0 will move data at a rate of 480 Mbps (Megabits per second), and is fully backward compatible with the first generation of USB devices.
