Summary: I shopped extensively for a new vacuum. This one is the best model if you're looking to spend less than one hundred dollars. It works great. It pulled deeply embedded dirt out of my carpet.

Summary: We picked up this vacuum for a second apartment because of its high rating on cleaning carpets in Consumer Reports and the price. It does a good job in picking up the dirt that you can see. We live in an arid place where there is a lot of fine sand and cannot tell how well the machine is doing with this type of dirt. When finishing vacuuming, fine dust clings to the machine surface, probably due to static electricity. Usually, we end up wiping down the machine with a damp cloth. For a second inexpensive vacuum for quick cleaning on carpets, it does extremely well.

Summary: I'm very pleased with this vacuum I got this for just over $60 and its well worth it. This is not a top of the line vacuum, but if you want a budget vacuum that cleans carpets this is it. It has a light on the front to help you see in dark corners and the vacuum itself weights very little (relatively). I would definitely recommend this if you are not interested in spending over $200 on a vacuum
