Strengths: Well-built, great look, fairly easy to use, versatility, a good amount of included accessories, controllability, user replaceable battery, screen views.
Summary: I was looking for a PDA with great deal of functionality....calendar, contacts, wireless, voice recorder, etc. You can even right notes in your own handwriting....COOL! You can set this device up so it will not function without a PIN or Password. The screen can be viewed in portrait or landscape (left or right side views). This device can display a calendar showing all of the days, months and weeks in an entire year on the screen. You can take a regular SD memory card and pop it right in to enhance the memory and storage capabilities. The Excel, Word and PowerPoint look just like on your home computer, just a section at a time. I could go on and on. Search around for a good price under $280.00 (total cost) and buy it. I recommend this PDA / Pocket PC.

Strengths: Windows platform better than Palm OS. Great resoultion. Syncing is easier than Palm OS. Light weight. Built in Wi-Fi.
Summary: This is my first PDA that uses Windows. I have had a few Palm's in the past and have run into problems with the support. Once they finally got my Palm TX replaced I decided that I never wanted to have to deal with their poor support again, so I put the TX on eBay and bought the Ipaq 111. I have been happy with the purchase. The unit has a good overall performance and the battery life is very good. I have a 2GB SD card installed and loaded about 450 MP3's on the card. I was able to use the Ipaq for about 10 hours of continuous playback before the battery was depleted to about 10%. I also read a number of positive reviews on this device that helped me decide on this item. Wireless performs very well. I like the fact that the radio is 802.11 b/g and not just b. It also allows for configuring the higher WPA2 level of security. Palm requires an additional software purchase for this functionality. The only thing that I would change is to increase the resolution. It would be nice if it had a higher resolution for viewing spreadsheets and such. Overall, a very good unit and I would highly recommend over the comparably priced Palm TX.

Strengths: Long battery life, small, slim, great design, professional looking, not Palm OS.
Summary: After using several PDAs since 1999, this has been my best value PDA that I would recommend to anyone who is looking for strictly PDA (no GPS, no phone, etc). The design was great and look very professional. Before buying this, I debated with myself for a long time if I should got rid of my faithful Palm Tungsten T3. After comparing with the strengths and weaknesses, I finally went for this IPAQ 111 Classic and it's all I ever hope for from a PDA in term of functionalities, and look. I never like Palm OS at the first place so this new MS Windows Mobile 6 is really a big leap for me. It's so easy to use and lots of software to support. It's not buggy as my old palm. The WIFI function is a plus as well especially with free WIFI now adays. What I love the most is the replaceable battery which is hard to find in the PDA. So far, I only charge once every two days with normal average use. It uses the mini usb cable to charge so it's easy to find wherever you go. This is a must-have PDA.
