Summary: I was incredibly surprised when I received and unpacked this fax machine. The small compact design was great, and it fit nicely with space to spare on the table i had planned to put it on. Setup took a minute. Plug in a phone line, the phone handset, and it even had an extra extension in case you wanted to plug in another device to the current line. Scanning and faxing is fast. The feeder holds about 10 pages for a fax. The autosave fax memory is a great feature.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this fax for the great price. It works great and so far the inkjet cartridge that came with it is still working.

Summary: So far this product has easily lived upto my expectations. It is easy to use, just plug it in, insert phone jack and your ready to go. (my last fax had an lengthy setup menu before you could use it). The size it compact. I didnt consider when purchasing, but Ilike the fact that it has a memory to save faxes. You never know when you may need to go back to find something. Anyway for anyone who needs a basic fax, this will do just fine.

Summary: I am fixing to open my own real estate office. The real estate office I am working for now has a Hewlett-Packard 1040 Inkjet Fax. I am impressed from using it already on a day to day basis, that I knew this was the type of fax I had to have!

There has never been ANY problems with it that I am aware of and has been very reliable and consistant with clear copies. I would recommend this machine to anyone!
