Strengths: - Very easy to install- Lap signal strength is a lot better than using my internal wireless card
Summary: The unit heats up easily, it would be nice to have an auto turn-off function if the device is not being used for 1/2 hr. Overall , it is an easy device to operate.

Strengths: None
Summary: We used Macstumbler and AP Grapher to test the signal strength.
Starting strength: fairly steady 63% with dips to 50% but recovery back to 63%
After messing with the HSB2 for an hour trying different positions the best we could do was 46% to 50% with dips down to 40%.
D-Link's have good antennas. For D-Link users, take a pass on the HSB2.

Strengths: Extremely easy installation and setup with my 802.11g network. Signal strength at my laptop increased by 60% over a distance of about 150 feet and through 2nd floor walls.
Summary: I had been using this range extender with great success from my second floor office desktop PC thru a wireless router to a laptop located on my first-floor patio, aboout 150 feet. I consistently had about 20% signal strength without the HSB2, which increased to 80% with it's installation.
I received a D-Link Wireless-G MIMO router and PC card as a gift and the HSB2 is not compatible.
