Strengths: Looks nice; Has nice Graphics; Clear Voice and adjustable volume; accurate; nice features for the price (currency converter, pictures view; wide search options...) Summary: I have not had this product for long but have been tested it and it seems pretty accurate. It might sometimes take too long to get a satellite reception but it is not so bad. It offers great features such as picture viewer with a slide-show function; a world clock; currency and measurement converters; a calculator. I had the chance of trying other GPS before (TomTom and Garmin 350); this one is definitely better than the TomTom I tried but not than the Garmin 350. However, Garmin 350 is a way more expensive and I didn't need all the extra features that it offers (like the mp3 player). If you are looking for a GPS just to get you around, then you should definitely consider buying this one. For a wide screen GPS, it is pretty cheap compare to the other Garmin products. Also, it is pretty easy to use. I haven't used the manual at all yet... Strengths: Easy to use GPS with features most users require. Summary: If you're looking for a GPS with most of the bells-and-whistles users expectfor under $300, then consider the Garmin nuvi 200W. This is an update of the nuvi 200, but with a larger, widescreen LCD. When you turn it on you only have two choices (1) Where to? or (2) View Map. The first option let you pick sites by address or name or type of business. The second displays the map. The best feature of this GPS is its price. By omitting common features of the more expensive models (Bluetooth, MP3 player, etc.) Garmin has kept the price down. Having used a StreetPilot GPS, the nuvi 200W is easier to read with even better graphics. It's small enough to put in your pocket or purse when you're on the go. There is an SD card slot where you can change the area you are visiting. It would have been nice if Garmin would have included the the U.S. SD card that is installed on the 200W as a backup This GPS also includes a travel converter and measurement converter as extras which come in quite handily while traveling. You can buy a car with GPS built in for $2000 or you can get this model with many of the same features for a fraction of the price--and take it with you in another vehicle! If you can do without the extras found on higher-priced GPS units, the nuvi 200W is the perfect travel accessory. Strengths: Straightforward navigation system.Colorful. Light & portable. Summary: This is a nice portable system with a wide screen. There are a variety of voices that can be used and it can easily be connected to the computer with a standard cable for updates to the software. If you are looking for an easy to use, pure navigation system without a lot of additional features, this one is for you.
