Strengths: light-weight, smooth and easy to handle, well constructed
Summary: This is a nice and easy for travel tripod, but definitely not a professional one. The color is not black as what I expected. It is stable when I mount my E300 at normal height. But not enough at the highest positon. Plastic body makes it fragile, but this is the tradeoff for light-weight. The tripod is well-constructed as other cannon products. Made in China and designed in Japan. There is a very simple manual (some figures) on the ship box.

Strengths: Easy to use, low price, free carrying case, great color, sturdy, good construction materials
Summary: A very well made sturdy tripod. Using with Canon EOS 35mm and telephoto lens. I looked at a number of tripods around the same price range and higher. This one seemed the best for me. Not a power user and could not justify spending large sums of money for top-of-line tripod. I think this is a great tripod for the money when comparing all the other tripods in this price range.

Strengths: Well-constructed, light-weight, easy-to-use, nice price. Excellent for home photography and your simple photography trip.
Summary: This is a very nice and portable tripod for the amateur photographer. It is well-constructed and easy-to-use. The 3-way panhead will serve an amateur well both at home as well as out-door. However, because of its light-construction, it is not sutibale for rough and heavy use. Be careful with the plastic clips and locks. Still, with care, this tripod will do well even if you go somewhere off the beaten track. Given its price, it is good value for money.
