Strengths: Easy set-up. Strong signal. Love that it is also a charger.
Summary: I've been using my Belkin TuneFM for my iPod Nano and have been extremely pleased with its performance.
I read mixed reviews before deciding to purchase one. Most of the negative comments had to do with poor signal strength and interference when played through an FM station. I must say I have had no problem with mine. And living outside Philadelphia, there aren't too many FM bands that aren't used by one radio station or another. But I've found several that work just fine.
I did notice that it seems to work better with my car radio than with my home stereo (which exhibits more interference) but since I use it primarily in the car, it's not an issue for me. Besides, for anyone looking for a home stereo connection for their iPod, I'd recommend a direct connection through the audio input jacks on your stereo for the best possible sound.

Strengths: Potability, and easy functionality
Summary: I would buy if you wanted something simple and easy to operate. A little pricey for the simpleness of it but still worth it. Good name brand and decent reception. I would buy if your not a long term ipod user.

Summary: I use TuneFM in my Toyota Highlander. The antennae distance is perfect. I haven't had any problems tuning it and maintaining the signal. I live in a medium metro area and haven't done much interstate travel. Keeping a signal will change during long distance traveling. But for my area, one stereo setting works fine and I haven't had to change to others. I have seen other units that had docking station setups for you dash, but I didn't want any clutter, where there is a chance for things to get knocked off. The only trouble I've had (and it is with the Highlander, not the TuneFM) is the power cord doesn't' work in the cigarette lighter outlet, for some reason. I have to use the auxiliary power outlet in the lower storage area. The TuneFM sets up in minutes, it's unobtrusive, and the gets stashed away in my glove box when not in use.
