Strengths: Works fine. LEDS indicate speed of each connection.
Summary: The base of these units (I have tried 4 units now) gets too hot for my mind to put on an expensive wooden desk (heat is there whether or not the PC is turned on). The base of each unit gets to be about 100F. Belkin have been excellent in switching units out and eventually switched to F5U234s. These are slightly warm when PC powered on and no heat when PC is powered off.

Strengths: Different from most other USB hubs, this one is able to connect most devices without requiring an external power supply. It's very powerful and also comes with a high-quality, hi-speed USB 2.0 cable.
Summary: Comparing with other brand's USB hubs that I previously used, this Belkin USB 2.0 Tetra Hub is most reliable and powerful as ever. You never have to worry about bad connections or big transferring data (available up to 480Mbps.) Also, featuring a good stackable design for a desktop is plus. I rate Belkin as a best brand for this kind of connector and interface devices.

Strengths: worked good for about 6 wks
Summary: overheated and base started to melt. Prior to this appeared to be working OK. I am just hoping that none of the connected items were damaged. Has anyone had overheating problem? What was company solution?
