Summary: 15 minutes after installing the unit and software, it chose not to recognize my fingerprint any more - I had to delete my user enrollment and start again. Worked fine with Quicken, refused to work with WS-FTP Pro. For web site password protection you MUST use Internet Explorer only, it will not work with any other browser. I have now returned the unit for a refund as a result of this last item - the packaging makes no mention of this browser restriction.

Summary: I highly recommend this fingerprint scanner to those who use Internet Explorer. It's a really handy tool if you have trouble remembering multiple usernames and passwords. I wish I'd done more research \"before\" I purchased mine though, since it will not work with Mozilla Firefox browser.I use Firefox as my primary browser.
