Summary: I have been used to using a cable modem and was surprised that this single port modem was set up to be used as a DHCP server. Obviously a switch was needed to expand those abilities, but I was really looking for a straight modem that could be plugged into my existing (and superior) wireless network equipment. It has been working well, but I have to frequently reset the modem as it begins to freeze up from time to time after periods of high network traffic. It also doesn't respond well to QOS limitations.
If this is your only choice, it is serviceable. Though, I am looking forward to switching back to cable.

Summary: Documentation does not provide any real examples. The UI assumes you are a certified network pro. The useability of these products is EXTREMELY poor. When calling their tech support they are happy to sell you a \"solution\". I don't need a \"solution\", I need to know things that should be in the documentation. Save yourself a lot of grief and buy DLINK or LINKSYS - at least you will get some help when their product doesn't work. I had to return the product. It simply didn't work right and I couldn't get any help. BTW - I have worked with almost every piece of network hardware under the sun and I am a certified network pro. This is the worse I have ever seen!!!
