Summary: This recharger is terrific. It comes with 4 2200mAh batteries. I took a trip to Europe with these batteries, and 1 charge lasted all day in my 5MP canon camera (about 450 photos/day). The 2200mAh batteries charge in 15 minutes (usually less), but the charger works with the 2500mAh batteries as well. It just takes them a little longer than 15 minutes to charge. I love this thing, and I don't have to keep a backup set of batteries as long as I can wait 15 minutes.
The energizer batteries are very high quality. I've tried generic 2500mAh batteries, and they didn't hold nearly as good of a charge.

Summary: I've tried every major retailer in the area that sells this product and a battery specialist and no one sells replacement batteries of the specified brand and type. The directions clearly state that you must use the specific brand and type. Of course, the package doesn't let you know beforehand that you cannot find extra batteries. If you plan on buying one to use for more than one electronic item, I suggest you look at the other brand(s) available. Seems that the competition is not afraid of letting someone use their charger with more than one set of batteries.
