Strengths: It is very easy to use. Also is very durable, not fragile.
Summary: I bought an universal adapter and used it with my digital camera. The adapter fried my camera. I bought this adapter by Canon and was very happy to see that it didn't ruin my new camera.
It is light-weight and easy to use. Some adapters have you turn on the camera and then it plug it in, or vice versa. This adapter can be plugged in the outlet first, or you can connect it the camera/device first and then plug it in--it doesn't change the effectiveness of the adapter of hurt your camera/device.

Strengths: The adapter is pretty simple to use. It is compact and lightweight and therefore easy to store or carry in a camera bag. Cords ar long enough so you don't need an extension cord.
Summary: At first not sure if it was compatible with my Canon A95. The listing on Price Grabber was for a ACK600. What I received from the mailorder house was a CA-PS500. After checking with Canon directly, they confirmed it was the same adapter.

Strengths: It is fairly compact and very light weight.
Summary: I wanted to comment on my problems buying this product. I ordered the ACK600 over the internet. When I found a unit inside labelled CA-PS500, I queried the vendor who thought it was a mistake and sent me another (same situation, of course). They never called Canon. I finally did, and here is the explanation. The ACK600 is a \"kit\". The \"kit\" is composed of two parts - The power supply (CA-PS500) which attaches to the camera and the line from the power supply to the wall plug. Canon really needs to rethink their labelling, and vendors really should learn about their products.
